RAPSA is delighted to announce that LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network has signed on as a pre-conference presenter for the 2024 RAPSA Forum!
After being formed in 2018, LAUNCH has been partnering with high schools and colleges “to build a dynamic workforce development system that connects businesses, job seekers and career-builders to apprenticeship programs.”
LAUNCH works closely with the education system and workforce leavers to “ensure that residents of California have access to apprenticeships and education.”
By connecting students with apprenticeships, LAUNCH acts as an intermediary with the goal to “elevate work-based degree pathways as premier academic and career options for students.”
LAUNCH stated that they have registered 25 occupations across six industry sectors (advanced manufacturing/logistics, IT/cybersecurity, healthcare, automotive, public sector, and early childhood education) that meet both the U.S. Department of Labor and California Division of Apprenticeship Standards.
LAUNCH is fiscally sponsored by the Foundation for California Community Colleges, which allows them to give California residents access “apprenticeships and education through the state's strong network of community colleges. By utilizing this network, businesses, students, and schools can create effective connections and partnerships.”
Thank you to LAUNCH for your commitment to providing resources for our At-Promise students, we look forward to your presentation.
