New Ways to Work partners with various organizations to help better the lives of students. Their main focus is to guide youth and prepare them for the future. For the past three decades the foundation has collaborated with others “to define better ways to connect organizations and leverage resources to prepare youth and young adults for the future.”
To help better assist youth on their journey to success New Ways to Work developed the All Youth – One System ™. As seen on their website the foundation believes, “No matter the age, no matter the environment, all youth need the same things to successfully transition to life as adults.”
The five elements within this system focus on Academic Achievement, Career Development, Community Services and support, Youth Leadership and Comprehensive Youth Development Approach. The system is described as “a comprehensive approach to education, job training and social service supports that equips youth with the tangible tools necessary to be active, engaged, effective members of the workforce and the community.”
