A RAPSA 2024 Attendees Guide for Travel
In just a few months RAPSA 2024 attendees will step foot on to the plush, white, warm sands of Coronado Island. To help ease the travel process RAPSA has created a brief three part guide with tips on transportation, after hour activities and dining options. Our first tip guide will be on transportation to Coronado.
Where is the RAPSA 2024 Forum Located?
The Forum is located at Coronado Marriott Resort & Spa, 2000 2nd St, Coronado, CA 92118
For added convenience the San Diego International Airport (N Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101) is just seven miles away from the Coronado Marriott Resort & Spa.
What is the best way to get from the airport to the hotel?
There are several options for getting from the San Diego Airport to the Coronado Marriott Resort & Spa.
Travel by car
If you are short on time, traveling by car is the fastest way to reach the Forum destination. The airport is just under a fifteen minute drive to the hotel. Attendees can take a taxi cab or book ride through a ridesharing app such as Uber and Lyft. Each option is time efficient, regardless of which one you choose, you will be on your way within minutes.
Note that Taxis will be located directly outside of the baggage claim area. Uber and Lyft loading areas will be located past the taxi and bus loading area. Be sure to double check with employees to ensure you are headed in the right direction.
Travel by Shuttle Bus
Travel via Shuttle Bus 904 for direct transportation to Coronado Island. Note this option will take you via shuttle and there will be no option to ride the Ferry. Cost for this choice of transportation will range from $2-$6.
For a more scenic route we recommend traveling by bus and ferry. Take Line 992 (ranging from $2-$5) to Broadway Pier. There you can enjoy a beautiful fresh ride on the Ferry to Coronado Island. Note that the Ferry does cost an additional $9 for a one way ticket.
Note Shuttle Busses make rounds every 15 minutes so plan accordingly.
